Growing Together

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2026 • DOWNTOWN OZARK, ALABAMA

The collard greens at the heart of the Ozark Collard Green Festival grow from a wider effort to teach, share resources, and create opportunities for farmers.

Joyful F.A.R.M.S. works with agricultural, educational, and community organizations to demonstrate how it grows collard greens, including through high tunnel production. Meet the organizations helping connect that work to the festival and to beginning farmers.

NRCS

Joyful F.A.R.M.S. uses a high tunnel to grow collard greens and demonstrate protected growing practices. Work with the Natural Resources Conservation Service helps connect the farm with conservation resources and high tunnel support.
